cabra’s posterous

Last night after I discovered a new subwoofer in the house, we spent some time sitting and listening to what I can only assume to be a sound test.  Various sounds moved throughout the speakers - first on the smaller ones near the patio, then the tall guys, and finally the subwoofer.  Apparently we need this sound quality to watch movies.  On a TV we don't yet have.

The good news is that we struck a deal last night - TV size for a charitable contribution + a trip to Italy for a friend's wedding.  yea!!

As I was moving our small disco ball somewhere more noticeable (finally - the perfect location on top of a speaker on a tall shelf!), I noticed a subwoofer.  A subwoofer that wasn't there when I left for work at 2:10pm (it was _a day_ for various reasons).  Why does he think I won't notice?  Probably because I wouldn't have if my disco ball hadn't been involved.  He is full of surprises and certainly does keep me on my toes.  Good thing I love him.

I find "Drunken Memoirs" a nice title because of its lack of promise of content and continuity and, therefore, no promises in general.  So welcome to my general observations of life and my drunken memoirs.
